Fall Picture of Pondless Water Feature

Falls by Fox will be represented at this weekend’s Rocky Mountain Home Show at the National Western Complex.  It’s this Saturday from 10am-8pm and Sunday from 10am – 7pm.  Check Out their website at www.rockymountainhomeshow.com for more information.

We will not only be introducing our new electronic portfollio cd with over 1,000 photos of our water feature works of art, but we will be selling fall and winter water feature “must haves” including de-icers, netting, cold weather bacterias and cold weather fish foods.

Fall is a good time to do a few things to your water feature that will help with that inevitable spring algae bloom that happens every year.  Proper preparation results in much more managable and smaller algae issues in the spring.

Consolidating stores! New Website! Online Store!!

August 23, 2008

We are in the process of consolidating our retail pond stores.

Sadly, our Parker location is closed as of today.  Please call 303-904-9977 with any questions.

As always, we continue to be of service to you and open to the public seven days a week at our Denver location, which boasts 2 1/2 acres and an 8000 sq ft retail store.  Please come out to see our water feature displays and enjoy them at your leisure in our “backyard”.  There are over 15 full size water features to show you what Falls By Fox can create for your backyard or to help you envision what you can design and build yourself!  Of Course, with our knowledgeable guidance and the contractor quality components available through our retail centers and on our website. :)

Please visit us at 2001 E. 58th Avenue in  Denver!  New Fall Hours will be available on our website.

We are saddened at the loss of the second “brick & mortar” location but are extremely excited at our Internet future!  We  launched our new website this week!  (Thank You Tom Mullen of Mullen Photography!!) Of course, you’ve seen it if you have seen this blog as the website tells you how to get here! (Thank You Again Tom Mullen!!!)    :)

We are in the process of developing & opening up our online store, so our customers can get their products shipped right to them if they can’t make it down to the store.  Please look here for updates on when that will be “live”.

Here’s to the future and never, never giving up!  -

Water Feature!

August 6, 2008

Our first Water Feature Construction ”Blog”!!  Yahoo!! :)   OK,  We are in Commerce City this week doing a new waterfall feature for Tom and Janis.  They have a HUGE yard to work with, so it will be a great addition to their yard… Not to mention their very happy neighbors! :)

Here is what the ”Water Feature Work of Art” looked like when it was finished!
This is a very unique style of a pondless water feature.  These are becoming increasingly popular due to their very low maintenance requirements.  Tom had the idea of adding the bubble rock at base to increase the sound as there is only a slight grade change on this feature and stream sound would be minimal.  It’s Perfect!

Welcome to Falls by Fox blog!

Parker Pond Building Class April 2008

Welcome to our first even blog!  Holly cow, this is REALLY exciting for Barry and myself…!!

We are changing gears and our focus for our future at Falls by Fox.  We are createing a brand new website, which will highlight our expertise and experience with all things water feature related and show our massive portifolio of water feature construction our artisans have build over the past several years.  We have created and constructed over 1,000 water features.

Wehave had a retail pond & water gardening store in Denver for 5 years now with over an acre of full scale water features on display and over 10,000 items in stock in our retail center.

We will be expanding our presence on the internet and will include an online retail center and this newly devised BLOG! (I am particularily excited about this portion!)  – I will love to be able to share our company information as well as personal thoughts and experiences regarding water features and anything else I feel like writing about…

We currently have a maintenance and servicing/upgrades division which we will be expanding greatly on as well next year.  More info to come.   But for now, please note that we provide all aspects of water feature related servicing… Including, monthly, weekly maintenance plans, one time deep cleanings, pump replacements, filtration upgrades, etc…

We are water feature artisans by passion, meaning our true love and desire is to create a beautiful one of a kind water feature work of art but we are water feature experts in all areas by necessity and revenue requirements… :)

We will have updates and ‘how to’ tips, for example, when the weather starts getting cold (and it’s about too) how do I maintain my pond/water feature?

When we have our ‘do it yourself classes’, this will be the place to get information about it!  There will be at least 1 or 2 come spring 2009 and they are a “Can’t Miss” for the comptemplative possible Do It Yourselfer… :)   Our one class at the Parker Store in May 2008 drew a croud of over 200 people!

So long for now and we look forward to “blogging with you in the future!”  – T&B Fox
